Meliano "John" Ganados grew up in the fields of West Phoenix at Roach & Baker Ranch. There, him and his family of 11 tended the fields, picked cotton, and irrigated the crops, while living in a small 2-bedroom home. His experience on the ranch developed in him a work ethic and drive that brought him from humble beginnings to generational success. He has passed this down to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He spent decades working in a variety of manual labor fields. In 2000, he began landscaping on his days off. All by himself he started with a mower, a blower, a trimmer, a rake, and a dream. From tending the fields to tending yards. Then, finally, in 2004, Diamond G Landscaping was born.

Meliano's son, John, had a successful landscaping company in the North Phoenix metro. In 2009, they made the decision to merge and form a tandem in the West Valley that has seen growth and success year after year. Combining quality, dependability, and efficiency, Diamond G became a top-rated and distinguished business in the West Valley serving thousands of yards and homes. As the business grew it increased it's talent from within the family. Over the years, the Ganados grandchildren went from working in the summers with their dad and grandpa, to crew leaders and technicians. Meliano and John's story and fingerprints are all over the company and culture of Diamond G. "Work hard. Keep your word. Dress your best."
